For this project I studied and tried to replicate the visual style of the concept art and 2D assets from the game Albion Online developed by Sandbox Interactive. I designed and illustrated a new weapon for the game, the Flail Mace. For this weapon, I created concept art, a custom ability icon, an item icon and a series of fake screenshots showing how the new weapon and its ability would look in-game.

In this project I also used existing assets (such as the already existing item frames) in combination with my own artworks and designs to create the final item assets and produce a series of fake screenshots that showcase how the item would look in-game.

After creating this concept and posting about it online I also got contacted by Sandbox Interactive, the creators of Albion Online, who asked to post my design on there official Social Media platforms. Click the button below to view the Instagram post on the official Albion Online account.
